Gov. Dikko Radda of Katsina State has extended warm Eid-el-Fitri greetings to the Muslim Ummah, congratulating them on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a message to mark the celebration of Eid‑el‑Fitri, the governor called on Muslims to sustain the virtues of patience, compassion, and self-discipline cultivated during the fasting period.
According to him, the spiritual lessons learned during Ramadan should not end with the festivities but should continue to guide the daily lives of Muslims and strengthen unity within communities.
Radda expressed gratitude to Allah for granting the faithful the opportunity to witness and complete the blessed month, noting that the teachings of charity, empathy, and devotion must extend beyond Ramadan.
He stressed that such values are essential for building stronger communities and fostering collective commitment to service and social welfare.
The governor also urged the Muslim community to continue offering prayers for lasting peace, security, and prosperity in Katsina State and Nigeria.
“May Allah accept our acts of worship, forgive our shortcomings, and bless our state and nation with enduring peace and unity,” the governor said.
The message was conveyed in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed.
