The family of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has announced the passing of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.
According to his son , Bello Elrufa’i, a member of the House of Representatives representing Kaduna North constituency, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai died a few hours ago.
According to him, she was the biological mother of Nasir El-Rufai and was described as a woman who lived a fulfilled and impactful life.
He expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the years she spent on earth, praying that her gentle soul be granted eternal rest.
Elrufa’i also prayed for all departed loved ones, asking Allah to forgive their shortcomings and admit them into Aljannatul Firdaus.
He further appealed to the public to remember the deceased in their prayers during this period of mourning.
According to him, funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family in duecourse.
